Why did I switch from working in a corporate set up to Freelancing?

Working in a multinational company is my dream job, pursuing a career and working with different nationalities is something that I have dreamt of. I am grateful for the friends I made, my colleagues, bosses and all the people who were part of the organization.

The company has given it's employees' benefits like free shuttle from the bus terminal to the company grounds, free abundant food (buffet), healthcare, yearly performance increase and bonuses, training and more.

With all these benefits and perks, I still couldn't fully maximize my work-life balance, from the moment I wake up to the moment I get home. View these, stress from getting a ride to and from work alone is an unbearable stress factor.

Then I stumbled upon freelancing on FACEBOOK, I thoroughly looked upon it, put my mind on it, focused until I was convinced to start a career out of it. So I followed a page on Filipino Virtual Assistance and enrolled in a basic freelancing course coached by Miss Julmar Grace Locsin to get myself certified and ready to undertake my future endeavors.

WHY change of career?

Time Freedom

Yes this is exactly what I wanted, doing what you love and are passionate about in your own time, nothing more nothing less.

Time with Family

Spending quality time with your family most especially with your kids, because you don't wanna miss their childhood memories, and it is about forming lasting connections with them.Every parent's dream is to raise a responsible and God loving kid aside from finishing their studies. You want to be there to guide them in every aspect of their lives..

Rewards thru earning

Being able to pay your bills, able to buy some extra wants aside from basic necessities, and make some savings is giving you at least peace of mind.

Self discovery

Every Portfolio we create, you tend to discover a lot more to yourself. When I was young, I loved to see my father draw a draft of his house project design for a certain client, however, I'm not good at drawing, I am more of a visual designer. Now, I can explore and put every design that looks beautiful and catchy.

But how do I to start?
